Boogie – Square Acetate Sunglasses with Wood Temples
A square frame with presence. Acetate front, real wood temples split between two species, and Polaroid lenses that actually cut glare. Boogie is for those who want structure – clean lines, strong shape, materials that hold up. Three colorways, each with its own wood combination.
Designer’s Note:
The square shape of Boogie works particularly well on round and oval faces – the sharp lines add definition and structure. The split wood temples – two different woods meeting in the middle – aren’t decorative, they’re the point. Each temple looks slightly different because real wood grain never repeats. The Mr. Woodini logo is laser-engraved directly into the wood.
Color Options:
Tawny – Warm olive-brown acetate frame with Walnut & Ebony split wood temples and grey lenses. Earthy and refined – pairs naturally with warm tones and denim
Ink – Smoky grey striped acetate with Golden Madrone Burl & Ebony split temples and grey lenses. The Madrone Burl grain is particularly dramatic – no two temples look alike
Crystal Marine Blue – Transparent deep blue acetate with Ebony & Walnut split temples and grey lenses. Clean and modern – the blue frame works year-round, not just summer
Best for: city wear, travel, work, weekends, anyone upgrading from generic acetate frames

Our frames are made from bio-acetate - derived from cotton fibers and wood pulp, not petroleum. Lightweight, hypoallergenic, and built to last. Each frame is paired with recycled wood temples - every pair with its own grain, its own tone, its own character. No two pairs look exactly alike.
Most sunglasses block light. Ours filter it. Polarized lenses that sharpen contrast, reduce eye fatigue, and block 100% of UVA/UVB radiation - built into every single pair. Not an upgrade. The baseline.
Every pair ships with a premium eco case - rigid, protective, built to last. A microfiber cleaning cloth, and packaging made from recycled materials. Because the unboxing is part of the product.

The frames are made from bio-acetate, a material derived from cotton fibers and wood chips. It's light, durable, and comfortable against the skin. The temples are made from real wood, handcrafted so that every pair carries its own slightly different texture, which is exactly what we love about it.
Yes, full protection. The polarized lenses carry UV400 protection, meaning they block all ultraviolet radiation, both UVA and UVB, up to a wavelength of 400 nanometers.
A polarized lens neutralizes the glare created when sunlight reflects off surfaces like wet roads, water, or glass. In practice, colors look more saturated, contrast improves, and eyes tire less. Anyone who drives frequently or spends time by the water will notice the difference within minutes of putting them on.
The temples go through a protective finish that guards the wood against moisture, sun, and sweat for everyday use. Like any quality wood accessory, it's best not to leave them in direct sunlight for extended periods or submerge them in water.
Between 22 and 40 grams depending on the model. They're light enough that you won't feel like you're wearing them.
Every pair arrives in eco-friendly packaging with a rigid case and a microfiber cleaning cloth. Many customers buy these as a gift, and the packaging does most of the work.
