Sydney – Cat-Eye Acetate & Wood Temple Sunglasses

Sydney takes its name from the city that lives outdoors – where the light is sharp, the style is effortless, and nobody’s trying too hard. A cat-eye frame that carries that same energy: feminine, confident, and precise without being loud.

The Sydney comes in two colorways. Crystal Champagne pairs a blush-transparent acetate frame with warm brown lenses and Golden Madrone Burl temples – a rare burl wood with swirling golden grain that looks different in every light. Dark Jungle Green goes the other way: a deep transparent green frame with grey lenses and Ebony & Maple temples, where the contrast between dark and light wood does all the talking. Both versions feature 3D bevel cutting – a technique that carves depth into the frame edge, catching the light and giving the acetate a presence that flat frames simply don’t have.

Designer’s Note:

Cat-eye frames have been a shorthand for a certain kind of confidence since the fifties. The Sydney doesn’t reinvent that – it grounds it in natural materials. The burl wood temples on the Champagne version are the kind of detail you notice up close and can’t stop looking at. The Ebony & Maple combination on the Green version is quieter but just as deliberate. If you tend to reach for pieces with texture and character – a linen shirt, a leather bag, a stone bracelet – the Sydney sits naturally in that company. Works best on oval, heart and square face shapes, where the lifted corners of the cat-eye add balance without competing.
